Each of my graphic or painting works begins with a grid that I draw, laying the foundation of the idea. The new graphic, like the other works in the “Duality” series, is based on a grid constructed according to the principle of the geometric progression of the number 2, which symbolizes the harmony of two opposites.
Graphic 23. Duality. “Loud Silence.” The insistent, uneasy state of wanting to express feelings and, at the same time, the elegant, silent restraint merge into a harmonious unity of a balanced personality. Yet this is an eternal struggle — one that distinguishes our human nature.
