Graphics 23. Duality. Loud Silence (2025)
Loud Silence is a work about a state in which tension and restraint exist simultaneously. It speaks of an inner pressure that seeks expression, and of the capacity to hold it without breaking inner coherence.
The work addresses the moment when a persistent desire to speak is controlled by conscious, chosen silence. This is not suppression, but a demanding inner decision — one that requires energy, discipline, and will. Remaining silent when there is an urge to shout marks a shift in awareness and reveals a form of inner strength that not everyone is able to sustain.
Here, silence is not the absence of action. It becomes an active state — a form of internal work in which opposing impulses coexist within a single process. The tension between the need for expression and the ability to restrain it forms a point of growth.
Loud Silence speaks of multiplicity within unity — of inner processes that remain invisible, yet shape the depth, maturity, and development of the individual.
