Impulsiveness — Prudence is a work about inner movement between impulse and restraint as two interdependent states of a single psyche.
Here, impulsiveness is not treated as chaos or a lack of control. It appears as a source of motion — an intuitive drive, a willingness to act without guarantees. Prudence, in turn, does not suppress this impulse but gives it direction: it slows the movement, refines intention, and allows consequences to come into view.
These qualities do not exist separately and are not fixed as permanent character traits. They remain in continuous dialogue, shifting their balance according to inner states and circumstances. There is no final dominance here — only rhythm.
The work captures this moment of internal negotiation, where a decision emerges not from choosing “either,” but from holding “both.” It is a space in which identity forms through interaction rather than exclusion.
