This work is part of the Duality series, in which I consider inner qualities not as opposites, but as interconnected states of a single process.
Flexibility and decisiveness do not stand in opposition here. They coexist as different modes of engaging with the world — modes that cannot exist without one another. Flexibility allows for response, change, and adaptation. Decisiveness gives movement direction and form. Only together do they create a stability capable of withstanding the pressure of change.
What matters in this work is not a choice between qualities, but their simultaneous presence. They unfold as an inner rhythm — not conflicting, but attuned, like a dance in which no movement has meaning without the other.
The geometric structure of the drawing emphasizes the integrity of this process and balances the states. It holds them together, allowing flexibility and decisiveness to exist within a single, coherent rhythm.
