Do we control our thoughts — or do our thoughts control us?
At times, the inner process feels slow and fluid, moving almost imperceptibly, aligned with consciousness. At other moments, it appears as sudden flashes — unexpected insights or darker presences that surface like shadows we resist associating with ourselves. Thoughts may behave like intrusive, uninvited guests, consuming our time without permission. Or they may resemble a quiet, familiar conversation in a comforting space.
And all of this is about us. More precisely, about us within ourselves — multiple, not always friendly, not always able to find common ground. Inner dialogue can be analytical and full of discovery, yet it can also become exhausting, repetitive, and difficult to escape.
Self-Talk is an attempt to pause within this process and to ask simple, yet uneasy questions:
What are we filled with?
Which thoughts occupy our inner space day after day?
And how many different selves live within us?
