“Vessel” engages with fractal geometry as both a visual language and a metaphor for human continuity. Fractal proportions, present throughout natural forms, recur within the human body, suggesting that we are not separate from nature but one of its repeating patterns.
The work draws on symbolic associations between the human figure and the star — a form whose radiating structure echoes the body’s proportions and its generative capacity. This connection is deepened by the image of a woman holding a child: a literal and symbolic vessel through which life perpetuates itself.
The static composition amplifies the internal dynamism of creation — the silent, profound process of becoming. The piece positions birth not merely as a biological event but as a fractal continuation of ancestral patterns, shaped by the most fundamental force of all: love.
