Fractals surround us everywhere. Fractal proportions can be traced in all natural forms of life — and as part of nature, we are no exception. Returning to the theme of symbolism, it is worth recalling that the human figure is often associated with the star. And this makes perfect sense when considering the body’s proportions. Looking even deeper, like a star endlessly generating itself, a human being gives birth to new life — similar to themselves.
This is what Vessel is about — our fractal nature and the miracle of new birth. A woman holds a child close to her heart. The static composition reflects the dynamic process taking place within this delicate vessel. And of course, it is about love — the feeling that permeates all our essence.
